Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa – Humantay Lagoon:

We will go through their respective hotel to pick them up between 4:45 and 5:30 am and then travel by private transport to the town of Mollepata located in the lush valley of the Apurímac River. After a well-deserved breakfast to fill us with energy we will continue our trip to Soraypampa (3900msnm) after a short break, we will begin our trek to Humantay lake located at 4200mt 13779 feet, after the ascent of 1 hour and 30 min approximately we will be able to appreciate such a wonderful place and we will return to our camp to have our lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the snowy peaks and later they will be transferred to our city of Cusco, we will leave them in the center of the city (near the main Plaza de Armas).

The strength of Sacsayhuaman.- It presents immense walls conformed by monumental stones. They are distributed in a zig-zag, on three platforms, and have an average of 360 meters long. There are stones up to 9 meters long and 5 meters wide.

Tambomachay.- Known as the “baths of the Inca”. Through its staircases you can see crystalline waterfalls and it is said that water was worshiped here.

Fortaleza de Puca Pucara.- Fortification formed by platforms, stairways, underground passages, towers, niches and platforms.

Qenqo Amphitheater.- Ancient Inca shrine, also built in stone. There are passages, canals and stairways with engravings that represent the sacred cougar.

The tour starts when passengers are picked up from the hotel and taken to a ranch located near the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, from where we will begin the tour. The return to the city is by private bus, after approximately 5 hours of relaxing horseback riding.

Pick up from the accommodation at 03:00 AM. Very early in the morning we will transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo. At 05:30 AM we will board the train chosen to the majestic sanctuary of “Machu Picchu”, since 2007 wonder of the world. During the tour we will appreciate the beauty of the Inter-Andean Valleys and the indigenous peoples of the area, up to Machu Picchu town, or better known as Aguas calientes. Then we will take the buses that in a tour of approximately half an hour will take us to the sanctuary. After the rigorous check-up in the entrance booth, our unique experience in life begins, we are facing this amazing monument, patrimony of humanity. Our guide starts the visit in the Inca complex; in the Temple of the Sun, where its main enclosures will be observed, then the Intihuatana, group of the Sacred Rock, Temple of the Three Windows, the mausoleum, among other places of interest for the tourist. The tourist is given a free time to take his photos, travel on his own some place of interest, among other things. In Machu Picchu town you can go for a walk, visit places selling handicrafts, Plaza de Armas among others, until you wait for the hour to board the train back to Cusco. At 08:00 PM. Soon. Day 1: Cusco – Aguas Calientes

Our program starts with the pick up of your Hotel for your later transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo for an approximate of 1 hour and 40 minutes, where we will board the train that takes us towards the town of Aguas Calientes, approximately 1 hour with 45 minutes, during the route we will observe the spectacular beauty of nature and abundant flora typical of the area, crossing the captivating landscape of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes, a cozy place, where the staff of the Hotel will be waiting for you at your arrival, at the train station who will transfer you and install you in the Hotel and we will have the afternoon free to visit the town (optionally we will be able to enjoy the thermal baths of this place or the Machu Picchu site museum).

Day 2: Aguas calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Very early after breakfast at the Hotel, we will board the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, an approximate 30 minutes, arriving at this Archaeological complex we immerse ourselves in the enigmatic beauty and the incomparable sample of Architectural and Hydraulic perfection of the Inca culture, We will have a guided tour for 2 hours approximately accompanied by a specialist guide who will explain us about the historical legacy of the citadel of Machu Picchu, and the full description of this great and imposing attraction that is one of the seven wonders of the modern world.

After the guided tour you will have free time to visit Machu Picchu with more details and if you have the entrance ticket for Wayna Picchu you will visit it, then we descend to the town of Aguas calientes by bus, to have lunch with tranquility and taste the variety of the gastronomy Peruvian, and in the afternoon take our train that will take us to Ollantaytambo where we will be waiting for the transfer with our touristic bus that will take us back to the city of Cusco, and later transfer to your Hotel.

Maras.- Located to the west of Cusco at 3300 m.s.n.m. From there you can see the Urubamba mountain range and the snowy summits of “La Verónica” (5682 meters above sea level) and the “Chikón” (5530 meters above sea level). Its important occupation began when the Cusco Inca nobles were stripped of their palaces in the Qosqo and had They go out to settle in other small towns like Maras. Moray.- The archaeological circuit of Moray is a unique archaeological group. These are huge depressions or natural holes on the surface of the land that were used to build terraces or agricultural platforms with their respective irrigation channels. What draws attention is the average annual temperature difference between the top and the bottom of the depressions.
Moray, due to its climatic conditions and other characteristics, was an important center of domestication, acclimatization and hybridization of wild plant species that were modified or adapted for human consumption.

Salineras.– Then we will go to the salt mines located 7 km from Moray, we will go through a typical Spanish village called Maras. Towards the northwest of the town of Maras are the famous salt mines known by some as “salt mines” are constituted by some 3000 small wells, built on the side of the mountain of “Qaqawiñay”, which during the dry season are filled or “water” every 3 days with salt water that emanates from a natural source located at the top of the wells so that when the water evaporates, the salt contained in it gradually solidifies. This process will continue for approximately one month until a considerable volume of solid salt is obtained.

08:30 h. Our clients are picked up from their respective hotels in Cusco by a representative of our agency. Then we will start our excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This beautiful valley is composed of numerous rivers that descend through gorges full of greenery and small valleys. On your tour you can visit two of the best Inca architectural remains that the valley houses.

Pisac.- First we will go to the ruins of Pisaq, impressive construction built in the period of the Inca Empire. Here we can observe the great work accomplished by the Incas, through an endless number of agricultural terraces that adorn virtually all the mountains around them. In the center of the temple of Pisaq, we can observe an intiwatana (solar clock) and fine buildings inhabited by the Inca nobility 500 years ago. After our visit to this ancient Inca citadel, we will visit the modern town of Pisaq, which is located on the right bank of the Urubamba River, and is populated almost entirely by the descendants of the Incas. Here we will visit a picturesque craft market, and we can see how until today the people of this place maintain the tradition of exchanging their things or food, just as they did in the past. For those who like to buy souvenirs, this place is undoubtedly one of the best places to do it, as there is a wide variety of alpaca wool items, silver and gold jewelry, among others. Then we will have lunch from one of the typical restaurants of this town.

Ollantaytambo.- After our delicious lunch we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will visit the beautiful fortress that bears the same name. Here we visit the most important sectors, and our guide will give us an explanation about this place. The walk to the top of Ollantaytambo is a little steep so it is recommended to take it slowly and go slowly. (Carry a bottle of water).
Once the guided tour in Ollantaytambo is over, we will return to the city of Cusco. We will be arriving in Cusco at approximately 7:00 p.m.

Itinerary:

To start this circuit we will pick you up from your hotel in the afternoon hours and then visit the following tourist attractions.

The Cathedral of Cusco.- We start the tour visiting the Cathedral of Cusco, the church of the Sagrada Familia, and the church of Triunfo.

Koricancha Temple.- Also called “Temple of the Sun” its perfect architecture and stone constructions reflect that it was the most important temple of the Inca empire.

Sacsayhuaman.- In the Inca times it was called “house of the sun”, and it was a great religious center of great importance. This construction is attributed to the Incas of the last dynasties, it is located 5 km from the city of Cusco.

Qenqo.- Located one kilometer from Sacsayhuaman, it was a ceremonial center since it is seen in the central part a giant monolith, possibly that of an animal that was the main deity, surrounded by niches where the offerings were placed.

PucaPucara.- Former tambo, watch post that existed along the Inca roads.
Its construction is rustic type consisting of streets, houses, and courtyards.

Tambomachay.- It is located 9 km. of the city, known as the bath of the Inca, by the shape of its water sources, could also be a temple dedicated to the worship of water,

After our visit we will return the city of Cusco. End of our service.
